Scrap metal sorting with LIBS – LTB paper published
LTB’s spectroscopy team in cooperation with ISAS Berlin – Leibniz–Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften published their latest results on high-speed classification in scrap metal sorting using LIBS technology in an industrial environment. Sampling speed of 25 samples per second with average classification correctness varying between 76‑100 % is achieved. Comparison of different multivariate discriminatory techniques (PCA, PLS-DA) is presented.
