New LTB broadband spectrometer with resolving power of up to 50,000

Breakthrough – spectroscopy without compromise

LTB Lasertechnik Berlin announces the launch of a new spectrometer setup based on its high-resolution ARYELLE 400 spectrometer in combination with a 2048 x 2048 pixels scientific grade CCD detector.

The unrivaled echelle spectrometer ARYELLE 400, whose outstanding reliable optical setup was developed by the ISAS Berlin, has already been so far on top of high-resolution broadband spectrometers offering the perfect solution for challenging measurement tasks like LIBS measurements on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The scientific grade CCDs with 2048 x 2048 pixels that only recently have become available for commercial usage allow LTB now to achieve a new level of high resolution over a broad simultaneous wavelength range. For the range from 190 nm – 900 nm a resolution of 15,000 is achieved, whereas for the range from 250 nm – 900 nm LTB has even realized a spectrometer setup with a resolving power of 50,000.

The new level of performance expands the application spectrum of the ARYELLE 400. Focused on the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), the latest spectrometer model is an excellent choice for all R&D divisions requiring an all-in-one device suitable for a wide scope of applications.
