LTB Foundation Fund for the promotion of education, culture and society
LTB Lasertechnik Berlin has decided to establish the LTB Lasertechnik Berlin foundation fund within the framework of the Treptow-Köpenick Community Foundation “Bürgerstiftung Treptow-Köpenick”. Its aim is to promote education, culture and social activities (“LTB Stiftungsfonds zur Förderung von Bildung, Kultur und Gesellschaft”) . As a starting member, LTB has been supporting the community foundation since 10 years and is now taking a further step by establishing a endowment fund. The LTB Foundation Fund will be setup in the amount of €100,000. The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Oliver Igel, District Mayor of Berlin Treptow-Köpenick and also the patron of the Community Foundation.
Since the beginning, LTB has been accompanying and admiring the outstanding commitment of the Community Foundation and its volunteers. The Community Foundation dedicates itself with great enthusiasm to supporting projects, associations and groups, especially those that are not so much in the spotlight. The help “From citizens for citizens” promotes the creation of a broader community spirit and the development of skills and abilities, especially in the area of children and youth.
In the past ten years, the Community Foundation has supported around 200 projects in this field. We would like to express our gratitude for their work, and it is of great importance to LTB to support this responsible work. Therefore, LTB has chosen to establish the Foundation Fund under the umbrella of the Community Foundation.

Through the LTB Foundation Fund, the Community Foundation has additional opportunities and more planning security for new projects and its engagements. This is the driving force and motivation behind the establishment of the LTB Foundation Fund and we hope that we are setting an example for others to follow suit.”
