Now we are 33, years 7 months and 15 days
On Monday we were celebrating LTB birthday; we are 33 years 7 months and 15 days old. While it appears that we are in our best age, and the number may seem unusual at first glance, it holds great significance for us. Throughout all these years we were dedicated manufacturing nitrogen lasers, which are emitting at 337.15nm. Over the years we delivered over 20,000 units all over the world, from the top of the northern hemisphere, via the Super-Kamiokande in Japan to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory at the South Pole.
So we enjoyed the first get-together of this year by looking back at our company history, pointing out key moments like the launch of the ELIAS system for #lithography and the start into the #spectrometer production for #LIBS about 20 years ago. Today’s highlight, besides the delicious food, was definitely the unveiling of our own Buddy Bear. Representing our strong connection to Berlin, we are proud to have now one of these well-known symbols of Berlin. If you have a good idea for a name, please feel free to share it with us. We already have some proposals but the name is not finalized yet. We are grateful for the impressive work of Sylvia Zeeck.
