LIBSorter 300 – industrial sorting of metals and alloys in recycling
LTB Lasertechnik Berlin expands the product portfolio with the LIBSorter 300, a robust and high-performance online analysis system for industrial recycling applications of secondary raw materials especially under harsh environmental conditions.
As a non-contact multi-elemental measurement technique, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) provides the simultaneous analysis of individual material classes for subsequent industrial sorting in recycling e. g. aluminum, lead, bronze, chrome, iron, steel, copper, brass, nickel, silver, zinc, tin.
The LIBSorter 300 features a fully automated 24/7 operational mode with script-based remote control and was developed for online analysis of materials on a conveyor belt with up to 25 parts/s. To fit all client’s needs, the analyzer can individually be customized depending on the application.
